Missed

MissedDawn had snapped at Rachel for no reason, and the yelling match had been enough for Spike to intervene before blood was spilled.

This went on for the rest of the week. After the first day, Rachel took to plugging herself into her iPod and ignoring Dawn's bad mood.

Spike still couldn't get Dawn to talk to him, but he had a hunch what was upsetting her.

When she woke on Sunday morning, she saw a photo of her mother in an antique silver frame. A single red rose stood beside it. Dawn burst into tears and hugged Spike tightly.
