Rachel was always Ray. Spike was always calling Dawn something cute. He didn't think Xander's given name was ever used unless he was in trouble and he doubted Wolf ever used the same name twice.
Admittedly, his recent assignment with Wolf had seen her using a diminutive when they spoke, but she called stray dogs the same thing.
Spike tossed a pack to Andrew. "Move your arse, Muffin."
Andrew winced. The grapevine had a lot to answer for.
