She spotted Owen in the corner examining one of the witnesses. It wasn't different to her time with the police. The general public tended to be catatonic, violent or would run about like headless chickens.
Gwen noted that police behaviour was different from an outside perspective. The rumour-mongering was still there, but it was odd to be part of the speculation. With Jack's nod, she started the Chinese whispers that it was a murder rather than something more exotic. It made life a little bit easier.
