Faith raised her head as the ghost of a breeze wafted down to her hiding place in the stifling room.

The basement door had been opened. She tilted her head towards the sound. It wasn't a vampire, but the footsteps were familiar. As they passed her, she grabbed the intruder and dragged him down.

"You're not supposed to be here, Andrew," she hissed in his ear.

Andrew gently pried Faith's hand from his mouth. "Sorry. I have new intelligence. Your target's not a vampire, so I volunteered as bait. I believe that large demon on the stairs is your man."

My holiday stories tend to lean toward the traditional. However, I did rather enjoy having Dana destroy an inflatable Santa in one of my tales.

I'm not big on the whole holiday celebration thing, so seeing the same prompt repeat itself gets annoying for me. I start to get the feeling I've written the same thing in the past.

I can't recall Dana killing an inflatable Santa, but a couple of your other Christmas tales come to mind.

Definitely not traditional.
