Trinket

Spike sniffed the air as Dawn opened the door. "You alright, love?"

"Fine." She hooked her bag over the back of a chair and kissed Spike. "I found something really cool in an antique store today, but when I tried it on, it bit me and I had to have it." She showed Spike a heavy, silver dragon bracelet. The dragon heads held small beads in mouths full of the fearsomely sharp teeth that had scratched Dawn.

"It has good taste." Dawn shivered as Spike ran his tongue over the broken skin on her wrist. "As does its new owner."
