Animal Husbandry

Animal HusbandryThe merchant ran through an extensive list of instructions. "They're a breeding pair, so you'll need to keep them in separate cages unless you want to be up to your ears in their offspring. I'm sure you'll be very happy with your purchases."

Heading back to the TARDIS, the Doctor held his tongue until he closed the door behind him. "Didn't I specifically ask you not to get yourselves captured for the local pet trade?"

Rose and Jack winced as the Doctor loosened their bonds. "Try not to do it again or I'll be looking into getting those pet cages."

I think birth control would solve the 'up to your ears in their offspring' thing, but I'm sure Jack and Rose would like to try creating that problem anyway. :-)

You could just get them spayed and neutered.

I'll bet he paid more than I did for the hamsters.

I think that's a very safe bet to make.
