Stifle

StifleSpike couldn't breathe. If you wanted to quibble, he couldn't breathe because he was dead, but that didn't stop the panic he felt at being unable to draw a breath. Opening his eyes, he saw something large, pink and vaguely tentacly loom into view.

It was a tongue. "Dawn, get Levi off my chest." Spike was getting an unpleasant reminder of weight distribution over area of contact. It wasn't bad when the Husky lay across him, but he'd suddenly decided that he really needed to stand. On his toes.

He hoped Rachel was back soon to take the little beast.

It's not one of the more enjoyable ways of waking up, but better than a demon attack. Except for the drool.

Re: Puppy-attack!
It really does need a Jaws theme in the background.

I leave for a while and suddenly there are dogs named Levi and a girl named Rachel. I have a lot of catching up to do.

Rachel's been around for a while, but this is only the second outing for Levi, who is Rachel's new Husky pup.

Your whole name switch spun me out. There's a nice flow between names this time, so it wasn't such a dramatic change as last time.

Are you sure? He has no compunctions about sticking his tongue in your mouth to see if you're hiding food from him.
