Culinary Appreciation

Culinary AppreciationAndrew knew he'd never win prizes for his cooking. But even if it was up to the standards of the great chefs, his audience of bickering, teenaged girls had all the culinary appreciation of garden gnomes.

He'd long ago learned that they only recognised food if it arrived in cardboard, preferably delivered by someone cute. Subjecting their uncultured palates to anything more was a waste of food.

At least he'd managed to teach Dawn that experimental cooking was best confined to small test groups of well-briefed subjects. For that alone, he'd earned the undying gratitude of everyone in the house.

The girls oughta be glad to have anyone willing to cook for them, good or not. Especially with their appetites!

Typo: Take the "not" out of the first line of the second para.

Thanks for the editting anomoly catch.

You'd thing the little monsters would be grateful, but they never showed it. And all they'd have to do was leave a naked Xander handcuffed to Andrew's bed as thanks.

LOL! And it has two-fold benefits, as it would be a pleasure for Andrew and torture for Xander. Double the fun! *eg*

Poor Andrew did seem to get lumbered with all the traditional girly tasks. And he looks so cute in an apron.

Alas, it's a bit of pot luck with attractiveness of the pizza dudes.

Poor Andrew! *L* And it sounds like me and my housemates--hence why I pretty much just cook for myself...

Housemates are tricky animals. I've lived with an experimental cooker, which could be frightening at times, so sometimes cooking for yourself is better than the alternative of cooking for a horde of unappreciative people.

Maybe you should get an Andrew to cook for you.
