Dial Tones

Dial TonesDawn had hunted up the codes and Spike was punching them into the phone. They would have been happier if they could test their work, but timing was of the essence. As they heard Anya returning from a quick inventory of supplies with Xander in tow, the phone was returned to the counter by the register.

Anya farewelled Xander and turned her attention to Spike and Dawn. "What was it this time?"

"Phantom of the Opera."

Xander's image wasn't helped by a phone that rang in show tunes, but he had yet to learn not to leave it lying around.

It's an especially enjoyable prank to play on the technologically challenged because thet can't figure out how to change it.

Teeheehee!

Poor Xander! I started off thinking it was something dramatic they were up to and then no, practical joke.

My mobile plays the Buffy theme tune which my daughter programmed in for me, by hand? Remind me never to give you my number! ;0)

The older Nokias were the best for this, you could manually program ringtones in simply. It's just that not many people seemed to realise this. I used to do it all the time to a sales dude I used to work with and he couldn't figure out how to change it. Buckets of fun.

Yes!!! That's what I have, and as it's got a lovely Spike cover I'm very pleased with it - unless it rings and I'm posing as an adult at the time. LOL

Mine plays Tocatta & Fugue in D Minor, unless family calls, then it's The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

As for playing the Buffy theme, why would people recognise it if they didn't watch the show? And way better than some lame top 40 drivel sung by a talentless clone.

It would be way too tempting not to do it.

Hope you enjoy it. I'm not a fan of Lloyd Webber.
