Contaminant

"Demons in Leicester Square." Faith shook her head. "Giles will have kittens."

"Is that possible?" Sholeh looked baffled. "Or is it one of your English idioms?"

"It's idiom. Let's go."

They melted into the shadows, their stealth more habit than necessity, as their quarry had the grace of a herd of drunken elephants. The demon stopped outside a theatre, where it noisily disgorged the contents of its stomach before staggering off.

Faith crossed to the scene of the crime and laughed. The demon's acidic bile had nicely desecrated Tom Cruise's hand prints. "I think it just earned itself a reprieve."

From its reaction, it may have already been out for drinks. Somehow, I can't see more being a problem.
