Festoon

"You look like something the cat dragged in." Faith had finally found Andrew in their local. It looked like the wall he was leaning against was all that was keeping him upright.

"Do you know how difficult it is to get paint out of a rug?"

Faith shook her head. "Domestic really isn't my thing."

"Xander's been watching lifestyle television. I don't know why a feature wall needed to be the colour of pastel vomit or how Xander managed to get more paint on himself than the wall."

Faith patted him on the back awkwardly. Empathy wasn't her thing either.

*hugs Faith* I relate - domestic and empathy not really on my list of virtues either. Wonderful addition to your wonderful London!verse :)

Many thanks!

I think the closest to helping Faith would get is offering to thump Xander. Protective I can see; initiating the sympathy, not so much.

Pastel vomit doesn't even bear thinking about.

I vote he should roll Xander in said rug and then chuck it in the nearest river - strictly for cleaning purposes you understand

I'll have to pass that along. I'm sure he'll find it tempting.
