Quandary

"I can't deal with her and Faith almost got her killed." Xander threw his hands up in frustration. "She's not cut out to be a Slayer."

Giles sighed. "I think I may have found a solution. I've seconded her to Dolores."

Faith laughed in delight. "She doesn't know Dolores was a Potential Slayer as a girl, does she?" Giles shook his head, a smile on his lips. "I'd love to see her try and scam her way out of that."

They all started as they heard a shriek and saw Dolores dragging Francine by her ear.

"Anyone got a camera?"

Problem solved! Or at least, on the way to being solved ...

I guess the only other option would be to find a way to strip the silly cow of her Slayer strength before booting her back into the civilian world.

I hadn't thought of that ... I wonder if there is some magical way to remove a Slayer's powers? That would open up all sorts of interesting story possibilities.

Their powers were unleashed magically, so I don't see why they couldn't be reversed or, at least, held in check. Buffy was chemically neutered in one of the early episodes, so that's a possibility too.

Ideally, I think that'd like to keep Francine within the Watchers, as she has knowledge of Slayers, Watchers and demons. She seems to be enough of a dick that selling that knowledge or not knowing went to keep her mouth shut may become an issue.

I'd forgotten about the chemicals. And you're right, it's best to keep her where she can be watched; even without powers, she could be incredibly dangerous.

We'll have to see if she learns anything from this. If my attention span allows me to follow it up.
