Acquisition

The first impression Andrew got when he came home was that the furniture was trying to eat Xander. "What are you doing?"

Falling onto the floor with a thump, Xander looked up in surprise. "I felt like grabbing an ice cream from the shop on the corner and thought there might be some change down the back of the couch."

"Any luck?"

Xander nodded to the coffee table. "Three buttons, a token and a furry gummy bear."

Andrew examined the gold token. "This is a half sovereign."

"Is it worth anything?"

"Well, it'll get you more than an ice cream."

Weirdly enough, my Andrew and Xander tend to run to the domestic.

Somehow, I am not surprised by the furry gummy bear. Couches collect the weirdest things in their crevices.

I don't have furry gummy bears down the back of my couch, the dogs see to that. Now, dogs lodged down the back of the couch, on the other hand...

Gold is always good. Morgan my fru fru dog would have eaten the gummy bears and the buttons would have been one of his stuffed animals.

Cute
I actually performed the ritual of the sofa myself yesterday the best I got out of it was a missing sock - not mine I hasten to add. If nothing else this proves washing machines *don't* eat them all...

I was blaming the dryer, but I now have another culprit.

My boy had a thing for my knickers (clean ones I hasten to add) for a while when we first got him 7 years ago but it didn't last long *g*
Totally impressed with the craft work if a little confused by it being on the beasties, beautiful as they are.

Aside from the malamute wearing a scarf when we want to distract her from licking a wound, they don't get dressed up, but they do get volunteered as models because scarves and hats and things tend to look rather dull on their own. The alternative is photographing me and I'd rather take photos of the dogs.
