Contiguous

Spike found Dawn and Rachel looking a little under the weather.

"What happened to you?"

Rachel took a swig from a bottle of water. "We lost power just before noon and went to see if it was just us."

"We ran into the boys from downstairs, found out the outage affected the whole block and joined them for lunch." Dawn didn't bother lifting her head from the desk.

"It tuned out to be a liquid lunch and we got to watch nice, young men grope each others bums at the bar."

"Worth the hangover?"

Both women turned to him. "Yes."

This drabble was pretty much my Friday. I like the photo in that icon too.

I was quite happy to get a challenge that I could work this idea into.

Been a busy night -- not the way your characters had a busy day, either. So thanks, I needed the laugh!

You probably wouldn't get quite the same sense of amusement from being in a gay bar.

If only I didn't hit the word limit I could have expounded on the horrors of new Pet Shop Boys songs that are just the same as old Pet Shop Boys songs, but with the Little Britain lads doing to video.

I don't think I'd be much more uncomfortable being in a gay bar than I would be in a straight bar -- I really, really hate being in any bars, at all. Too much crowd, noise, and drunkenness for my taste.

new Pet Shop Boys songs???? I thought they'd given up the ghost years ago.

I don't know if the song was new (sounds like all their other stuff to me), but the video definitely was new.

There's that saying about the bad penny always turning back up ...

Actually, I don't recall disliking their music; truth is, I didn't think anything of it one way or the other.

Ahh but what if Spike went into the gay bar. He would get hit on unless he was with Declane, or Wolf. Wolf is man or woman enough to keep anything off Spike.

I'd be accused of being a sad old pervert if I did that these days DAMMIT...

So worth the hangover :)
